The Womanless Beauty Pageant is an event you don’t want to miss! Join us for the 1st ever Womanless Beauty Pageant at St. Stephen’s! This pageant is a fundraiser for our 2020 mission trip to Arizona. We have 15 contestants that will be competing! 9 contestants will be vying for “Ms. Divine Disciple” and 6 contestants will be in the running for “Ms. Seasoned Saint”. The contestants will also be voting for Ms. Congeniality. The event will be held on Sunday, November 17th at 4 PM. Tickets are $5 for school age children and up. Dessert will be served at intermission. We want you to have a say as to who your favorite contestant is and whoever collects the most votes will be crowned the “People’s Choice” winner. How can you vote? Each contestant has a head shot and a container with their name located across from the Men’s Classroom. Every dollar donated counts as a vote! All proceeds from the People’s Choice will be used to purchase supplies for the project that is assigned in Arizona. Contestants are encouraged to collect donations from folks outside of our congregation as well! If you’d like to write a check please make them out to St. Stephen’s and mark them Arizona 2020. All of our contestants will participate in talent and evening gown. There is also an opening number that you will never forget! Don’t miss out on a fantastic night filled with lots of laughter supporting a great cause. Buy your ticket TODAY!

Our 2019 Pictorial Directories have arrived! If you had your picture made for the directory, your complimentary directory is located in the Social Hall** (location change) labeled with your name. If you did not have your picture taken and would like a directory, there are extras in the office. They will cost $10.

Debt Free Before 2030: For over 14 years St. Stephen’s has enjoyed the fruits of a huge step in faith when our congregation decided to build the Family Life Center.  To celebrate this unique opportunity, we cordially invited the whole congregation to an event on Sunday, October 6th. To view a video of the presentation, click the link below.

Note: A special THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our “Life After Debt” event a huge success! From setting up, performing, directing, serving, attending, to cleaning up - everyone’s participation was greatly appreciated. For those of you that weren’t able to make it, this event was a THANK YOU to everyone for their effort in helping pay down the building debt. The brochures that have been in the bulletins the last 4 weeks (The Dream, A Step in Faith, Living into our Mission, and Imagine the Possibilities) along with the Life After Debt brochure that was handed out explained why our congregation built the Family Life Center and how we have served and will continue to serve through this addition. The next three months we have a great opportunity to make a big dent in our debt! Through a generous estate gift, we are excited to share that the monthly interest payments for this October, November, and December have been paid. With this gift we have the opportunity to apply every dollar, donated to the building fund during these three months, to the principal at the beginning of 2020. Life after debt is within reach! Please remember that there is no gift too small or too large! Our goal is to pay off our debt before 2030 which is when we will celebrate our 200th anniversary! What a celebration that will be to be debt free!

Meals on Wheel is Looking for Delivery Volunteers. They are asking for a commitment of one day per week for one hour to deliver meals. If you can help, pleased contact Ann with the Lexington Leisure Center (957-7979).

We're Still Here! – Our staff will be parking in the back of the church to leave more parking spaces open for members during office hours. If you drive by and don’t see any cars, don’t assume we aren’t here!
