THANK YOU to everyone who helped make last Sunday's “Our Journey of Renewal” such a wonderful day! We could not have done it without all the volunteers who cooked, set-up and took down tables and chairs, decorated, organized audio/visual, and performed. Thanks to everyone who attended. Don’t forget to turn your investment cards. If you missed the event, you can find videos on our St. Stephen’s Facebook page.
Cherub Choir is in need of pillowcases! They do not need to be new. Light colors are preferred as the pillow cases will be dyed (and not returned). If you have any pillowcases (regular or king size) that you can part with, please bring them to the church office.
SPIRITUAL LIFE INVENTORY
This year St. Stephen's was invited to be a part of a program called "Leadership for Faithful Innovation." This program is sponsored by Luther Seminary in coordination with 6 Synods in the ELCA, which includes the South Carolina Synod. A handful of growing and thriving churches were chosen from our Synod to participate in this three year process, which focuses on helping to foster and develop new and innovative congregational life and leadership.
One of the initial parts of this process is having the congregation fill out a Spiritual Life Inventory, which will help us as church leaders to understand the spiritual life and practices of our members. Below you will find a link to this inventory. Please take 8-10 minutes at your earliest convenience to fill this out. Please fill it out candidly. Your answers will be anonymous. Thank you in advance for your time and your willingness to aid our congregation in this most helpful way.

Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary is 1 of 8 ELCA Seminaries and the only seminary found in the Southern region of the United States. The campus is found on North Main Street in the Eau Claire community of Columbia. LTSS has been educating and preparing leaders for the church since 1830 and continues that mission today. As members of the SC Synod of the ELCA it has been and will continue to be a part of our mission to Support the seminary both with our prayers and our treasures. Please consider designating any donations over and above your regular giving to LTSS to help support the institution, the students, and their ministry - present and future.
