Rite of Installation - Oct. 24th

Your prayers and presence are requested on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. for the Holy Eucharist with the Rite of Installation of the Fifth Bishop of the South Carolina Synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, The Reverend Wade Thomas Roof, III, at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, 119 N. Church Street, Lexington, South Carolina 29072. ELCA Presiding Bishop Yehiel Curry will deliver the sermon and preside at the installation. A reception will follow the service. ELCA pastors, deacons, and clergy of other traditions are invited to vest and should arrive by 9:30 a.m. The color of the day is red. The service will be livestreamed at scsynod.com/installation.
